How can I rapid accumulate aeroplan points? I live in Canada. Other than spending alot of money, are there promotions? Associated merchants that offer more points?

If you have time / desire to do online surveys, short ones at evox "pay" 75 aeroplan points and the longer ones pay much more. It's an easy way to collect points without buying. Hotspex surveys allow you to exchange your hotspex bux through the points.com website and you can transfer them to aeroplan tooIf you purchase gas collect aeroplan points through Esso. Also consider purchasing magazine subscriptions for a gift through Rogers and you'll get up to 1350 points that way.

Esso, Home Hardware and Quaker (redeamable points on cereal boxes). Bell Canada has a program with their BellOne billing where you get aeroplan points for your phone/internet/cell bills (bell.ca)I got a whole bunch when I complained to Air Canada about a flight.Best points card is the RBC Avion Visa. You get points for everything you buy. I know pay all of my bills on Visa and then send one cheque every month to them and collect points for everything. I find the points add up really quickly. For example, when I pay my BellOne bill with Visa, I get both avion and aeroplan points.
